I purchased this remote to be used with my Nikon D3000 and am so happy with it. I was able to use it straight out of the box without any problems or having to set anything up. I like it because the remote works from every angle. You can point the remote from the back or the sides and the front of the camera and it works so well! Plus it is such a great price!

Now and then, I find myself wishing I had a remote control shutter release...and then I saw this. For the price, how could you go wrong? It worked perfectly with my Nikon D5000. You just have to set the camera to recognize the remote control in the menu settings. Very easy to use, and if your camera is set to auto focus, it does focus before taking the photo, just like it would if you're holding the camera yourself.

Saw some bad reviews for D3000 compatibility but I've had no such problem. Just enabled the remote in the menu and it worked great from all angles including behind the camera, behind my back, and very responsive in quick mode as well. Highly recommend.
